We are Not sponsored by anyone other than ourselves.
Our reasons for choosing, our RV over another may be different than yours.
We try to give you the process, as to why we picked our rig over something else.
This may help you decide what type of rig you need, or want.

We have always been travelers, planes, trains, and automobiles. Traveled using tents, mini vans, vans, truck campers, popup's, small trailers, larger bunk trailers, to now 5th wheel trailer.
They all have their own advantages and downfalls. So these are general differences we found.

Trailer
loose 4 feet usable living space, measured from hitch point to back of unit
lager turn radius per same length unit
can be pulled by car or truck depending on unit, truck bed available
generally low to medium prices, 12 - 30 foot length
everything on same floor, no steps within rig

Motor home
loose 10 feet usable living space for driving dashboard entry doors
need a second motor vehicle to get around with
more expensive buy, run and maintain
harder to find service for rig, may loose use of unit
all on one floor, no steps inside rig

5th wheel
all usable living space per length, from hitch point to back of unit
must have truck to pull unit around, lose part of truck bed to hitch
may need special slide hitch, for short bed trucks
medium to high price, 18 - 40 foot length and depend on unit, can haul your toys inside
steps inside unit, to parts above hitch
largest selection of different layouts

As we are now almost full time RV 'ers so we chose a 5th wheel over the others.
